weed gone bad??

Question: can weed go bad?? How can you tell? I got 1/8th about two weeks ago, have only smoked a couple bowls out of it, and I went to smoke it last night and it tastes and smells weird and I didn't get very high at all. It's kinda rubbery and sticky... is it no good??? Do I have to throw it away or is there a way to kinda fix it, like air it out or something?

weed can mildew or dry out severely. where were you keeping it stored? how much did you pay for it? if it wasn't that much i would just ditch it for some new stuff. as far as fixing it, i'm not sure about rubbery and sticky, i have heard about people putting an orange peel in a closed container with it, but i think that really only works for lack of moisture in the bud...

It could be moldy.

Warmth x wet x dark = mold.

DO NOT smoke moldy bud.

If it IS moldy, throw it. Yeah, it's a shame, but you'd be doing REAL damage if you smoked it.
