getting calls from RESTRICTED

I made a movie with a regular minidv camera, sony trv 320.
There's a scene where I am knocked out and carried to the trunk of a car.
Some cars passed by and saw it and called the cops on us, lol.
They got our contact info and address. We just gave them our cell number.

Recently.. past midnight at like fuckin 4am, I get a call from RESTRICTED.

and just last night I got a call around midnight that's also from RESTRICTED.
My friend who was part of the crew also got a call from RESTRICTED just last night as well at 3am!

Who the fuck is RESTRICTED?
I'm damn fuckin sure it's the police.

We did nothing illegal they said..
Even though we had no permit, we only used a regular camera. I think it's legal to shoot without a permit with a regular camera..?
There was no dead body found (obviously).
They KNOW we are just a film crew. They read my script and saw the camera.
Nothing illegal was found in the car.

The only possible thing I can think of is when the cop told me we needed a permit to shoot, but then he changed the subject and asked me what camera I was using and when he saw what camera I was using, he stopped talking about the permit.
Still, it's very suspicious that we are getting a call from an unknown number at the same time.

They are also calling at Christmas.. only cops would do that so they can make quick bucks off cheap tickets they can write us so they can afford a vacation for their family. Understanding.. but dat shit just ain't gonna happen to me, yo.

What could they possibly be calling us for....?????

Could be anything, man. I'd say suck it up and answer it to see. If you are sure you didn't do anything wrong, then what could the cops be worried about? Maybe just calling to check up.

...bunch of facsist piss taking power abusers for sure. (especially if you fit into the facsist scapegoat profile) They were doing this to me also following a complaint about a racist pig on a webforum. They sometimes do this sort of harrasment to the point of driving people mentally ill..."no you're not being harrased/this isn't a police state its a democracy you are a paranoid scitzaphrenic" type 'game'. What action should you take? You can try and complain to higher pigs/police complaints proceedure....they tend to be so arrogant (especially if officially sanctioned) when doing this sort of thing that they use their own mobile or even offical mobiles. So it would probably be departmentally sanctioned (if it is the pigs), as they are using a restricted number...so you'd have to hope the heirarchy wood find in your favour anyway. Or you could take appropriate direct action.

Silent phones calls, phones calls from rooms of pissed up pigs...that sort of thing...so it doesn't really matter if you speak or not to a silent call...its just nazi vermin. Be yourself not some sort of racist piss take of an Indian...then they know that you're not being intimidated or freeked out. A sharp confident "hello"... if no reply, then put the phone down.

RESTRICTED is just an option on your phone. anyone can change it. I dont like it when people do cuz then you dont know who called. Some people think it's "cool". It's ushally for people who use their personal numbers for work and dont want calls back.

It may be the police, if it was you wern't doing anything wrong so dont worry

When the police call, you will see something like "XXXXXXX Police Department." The police arn't going to hide their calls from you, they don't need too.

Turns out if was my dumbass friend begging me for weed.
I cut him off as I mentioned in my other thread about the worthless pothead friend.
He was trying to get in contact by calling me with a restricted number.
However another restricted call from another person at 4:10am called me. I'm confident the police are not calling me so everythings cool.
