a warning...
well last night my internet wasnt working, so i woke up this morning and it still wasnt working, so i called my ISP. they told me they had restricted my access because they found a copyrighted cheech and chong movie and file sharing software on my computer, so my warning to you is if you are gonna grow at your place, it would be best not to google "how to grow marijuana" because apparently people watch what we do on our computers more often than you would think. just be careful... paranoia lol...

That doesn't really sound legal... Searching peoples computers without their knowledge for file sharing software?
Why aren't pedophiles never caught that way?

they can track whats being uploaded from your computer. They don't really do anything if you download it, but they can trace uploads and shit. This same thing happend to me a long time ago when someone was downloading the movie Anchorman from me.

It's funny, in a pathetically sad sort of way, that it's illegal to download a song but it's perfectly acceptable to totally infest my computer with spyware and adware and God knows what else. My computer is my personal private property. Keep your malicious little codes out of it!

I think between PG2 and the plug in for Azuraus I block a good 80% of all known IPs. But still the ISP is the middle man so to speak. The can tell if you D/L illegally without being on your computer if they just monitor your bandwidth usage. Since your ISP knew the name of the movie its more likely that you got picked up by some company that put out a type of sting on that movie title. And I have heard that even though you block the IPs of bad places your IP information still stays with the tracker and if the MPAA or RIAA gets ahold of it they have there evidence right there.
