Garden Knowm Reviewed by Garden Knowm on 12-24-2006. does this ww look odd? i didnt top it.. but its split It came up around thanksgiving.. first plant to get this big so i dont know what to expect... but i assumed there would be one main branch, and this one has two. I wanted to take a clone to determine sex, but since there are two branches i guess i have to wait longer since the growth on each branch is pretty small any idea what could of caused this, or am i just crazy and its normal its in an aero system with a 400w MH... sorry for the crappy pics, my camera doesnt like the MH light Rating: 5

i had a clone do that. It yielded great, better than the rest. It seemed to have 2 main colas. This time when i took clones, i looked for clones that will form and grow similar, or at least i tried.

top it(both tops) and the secodary growth will come out alot faster

i need to read up on topping, that wont make four colas though will it?

when you top a plant the growth tip doubles and the secondary growth starts to catch up with the tops of the plant. i always top my plants, my yeilds are much better for it too. topping slows the growth of the branch topped for a few days but i'm never in a hurry anyway so the benifits well outway that fact... for me at least.

i usually fim top clones and just use standard topping for seed plants(less stress)

its more stressfull to fim top? arent seed plants usually stronger?
so far no new growth where i topped.. i guess it takes a week?
