A Leary biscuit is a snack consisting of a cracker, cheese, and ground up marijuana bud. It is heated in a convection oven and causes a cannabis "high" in the eater. The heating is said to activate the tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the active ingredient in cannabis. In actuality, the heating simply increases the solubility of the THC in the fats and oils in the cheese. The plant material of cannabis is not easily digested, and so the THC is not readily absorbed into the bloodstream unless it is first dissolved in some kind of fat, oil, or alcohol. This is why cheese is used for the Leary biscuit - cheese has a high fat content, suitable for dissolving THC and making it more readily available for digestion.
THC and other cannabinoids are hydrophobic oils. They are insoluble in water but soluble in alcohols, fats, and other oils. As cannabinoids are insoluble in water alone, they suffer from low bioavailability when eaten. By dissolving the cannabinoids in alcohol, fats, or oils (such as the fat in butter and cheese), their ability to be absorbed by the body is increased. Heating the THC in the presence of fats or oils simply accelerates the process of dissolution in the fats, from some hours at room temperature to minutes in the microwave.
Timothy Leary was reportedly fond of these concoctions, especially in the later years of his life (allegedly because his physician asked him to quit smoking [citation needed]) and thus they are named for him.cleareyes Reviewed by cleareyes on . ive never tried cheese
use like .3 per cracker surround it in cheese/peanut butter (peanutbutter seems like its easier than cheese needs to be organic tho)
make about 1 grams worth per person
youll be gone for like 3 - 4 hours an this is coming from someone who averages a 40 minute high on a good day

guy on fox news:\"Your not smoking any of that stuff are you?
Chong:\"Absolutely I smoke it every day you should to your eyes would be open to whats really going on.\"
You know, I left the country when Reagan got in; I went to France. And when George Bush Jr. got in, my instincts told me it was time to go - I\'d felt that we had grown above that, you know?

ORGANIC peanut butter. None of this skippy shit. The kind that has all the clear liquid floating on top that you have to stir in. Check a health food store.
Skippy shit might work, but i've heard its less effective.
I ate a total of 2 grams out of firecrackers, and I was so high that I had to hide from my own laugher under the couch, which i crab-walked to. Thats right, an energetic social high. If I had smoked 2 grams i would have been pretty fucked up (i have an ultra-low tolerance to any psychotropic), but i got more high from eating it.
Oh, and I hadn't eaten any thing for 6 hours. Probably helped. These damn things were my dinner. But i'm a skinny bitch at 140lbs.
