First grow, White widow, Pure diesel kush

Wow, ok.. Sorry guys I was away on vacation, happy new year. I left my plants alone for 3 days and came back... The runt pure diesel kush plant shot up to the size of the widow and the widow grew what looks to be about an inch, holy shit I was so suprised. The root system is visible from the side of the pots, its gotten really huge. I'm so happy I came home to this. Anyways, pictures to come tomorrow.

lookin good so far, those 2 litre bottles should take a 3 ft plant right through to maturity, but if you want to re-pot, go 4 it...

Seriously? Wow I didn't think they could go all the way through flowering in those little pots!? They seem a little small for the plants already I think I'm going to do one more transplant in about a week or so depending on how fast they grow.

My growing conditions are as follows A 2 section closet, about 5 feet of space from the ground the to light; towards the top of the light on each section there is one vent allowing equal airflow. Soon to add a CFM fan to each vent. 2 plants: White Widow and Sour Diesel x Pure Kush (aka "Pure diesel kush"). These are clones from the local co-op I picked up 2 days ago, so they should have good genetics. My current veg light is a 250W MH and my flowering Rating: 5

Pic 1 is The diesel kush, Pic 2 Is the white widow (notice the bottom leaves were just really destroyed but I think it doesnt really matter because the new leaves are very healthy, all green) Pic 3 is the top of the white widow, Pic 4 Is the root system of the diesel kush, Pic 5 is the WW root system, and Pic 6 is the diesel kush (closest) and the WW. hey man, they do look like they're doing well now. tops look healthy.

you might want to darken those pop bottles somehow. black paint? roots don't like light and now that they're starting to show on the sides it may affect them.

THanks dude, actually im just going to transplant them into standard 3-gallon pots soon when I put them into flowering

sooner the better. get some root stimulator too, you'll be amazed at the explosion of new growth. like taking a plant from floro's to summersunlight. i use green light's root stimulator every transplant. use as directed, it won't burn.

Can superthrive be used as root stimulator? Just curius because when I transplanted I watered them several hours before with superthrive then x-planted and watered them lightly again with superthrive.

i've not used super thrive, but other have and do use when transplanting. i wait for the soil in the pot to dry, then transplant into dry soil, then drench thoroughly with the stimulator. i don't water before, because it makes the dirt fall apart.

Hey all, its their first week into flowering under the 400w HPS lamp, Its day 5 flowering. I'm gunna start adding the 3 part nute system next watering.







Sorry for the shitty quality.. I think the hps doesnt mix too well with my cam.
