I am under the notion that usually one has to build a good relationship with the dealer before they try to make demands. Is that misguided? Can you just first deal, right off the bat, ask for headies and not get laughed away? Otherwise, I'd think even if Buddha Man got ripped off, he'd want to keep going back to that person and be patient with the dealer, right?

The only way to really know what you're getting is by buying a scale. Buy a cheap digi one for like $40, or a pen scale for $1.99. Mostly sold at postal outlets for weighing small envelopes.

or check out ebay, they got some tight looking scales w/ touch screens and shit for only like 7 bucks plus shipping (like $10-$15) which is still less then $40
