Chistmas has lost its excitment...
Is it really so hard to not talk about acid and shrooms in every single post? For fucks sake people, I'm tired of all kinds of posts getting deleted because people insist on talking about this shit. It has been made perfectly clear to all of us the owner of this site doesn't want the shit mentioned. Why when one person says something about everyone else has to confirm how "shrooms are the shit man."
I'm not sure if the mods will feel the need to delete this, nor do I really care. But it is starting to get rather annoying when I go to check back on a post that I find interessting only to find out it has been deleted because some people can't follow a very simple rule!
I just can't understand how thick headed some people are.JaggedEdge Reviewed by JaggedEdge on . Chistmas has lost its excitment... A couple a years ago I was 19 and was still looking forward to Christmas time. I was wondering what my parents were getting me, looking forward to the food, etc. When I was younger I could hardly sleep as my mind wondered what Santa was going to bring me. This year though it's all so blah. Normally Christmas feels like it takes forever to get here because the day after Thanksgiving I would start anticipating it. Now I look at the calender a couple days ago and realize there is less than Rating: 5

Yeah man, I know what you mean.
I'm only 16 though, but christmas has definitely lost its appeal. I moved to FL so theres no snow, and that was like, one of the best things about that time of year. I am excited to get some new games, but its just not christmas. Past few years its been more of "Oh cool, I get some new stuff on dec. 25" but before it used to be like "CHRISTMAS!" and I'd be excited for numerous reasons.

Look, I'm Wiccan, (if you don't know what that means, well, basically I'm a Goddess-worshiping witch- deal with it!), so Christmas is not really my area. However, I know what's wrong with you kids who have lost the joy of this season. You have gotten poisoned by the commercialism! The NEED to give meaningless gifts has gotten out of hand in Christendom. In the need to "keep up with the Joneses" and use a "boughten" gift to show duty, love and/or respect, you have forgotten the simple man who washed the feet of his disciples. Jesus was the humblest and "realest" of men. I would have enjoyed discussing philosophy with him. His path is not mine, but it can be a good and rightous path. In his memory, give a REAL gift, work in a homeless shelter, a soup kitchen (I'm sure there is a church doing Xmas dinners near you- they'd love another volunteer!). Give of your selves, not a gift from a store. Give an IOU of a service (upon demand) mowing the lawn, babysitting, getting prescriptions, etc to a family member (start with only a few - this CAN get overwhelming if done to excess). Christmas doesn't really have a darn thing to do with giving gifts- it has to do with renewing your spirit! May you be blessed! -Granny :stoned:

I think many components of Christmas are the special domain of kids, and I like to think that's because it's a holiday that celebrates the birth of a very special babe. But kids definitely get into the commercial and magical aspect and also the visual and sensual--the sights, lights, colors, smells, tastes and emotion of the holiday. It's an amazing time when you're a child and you believe in Santa magic, and it'll become an amazing time again when you have small children of your own and they do. You see it again through their eyes. If you're in the in-between magic times, try and spend some time with families who have little ones during the holidays. Or be patient. Those magical times come back with every generation. My child is grown now, but I can look foward to the times when I'm a grandmother.

yeah christmas just ends up turning into like any other day.. apart from you have ALOT more weed ALOT more booze and ALOT of good ass munchies
they're the only things i really love about christmas anymore.. presents are ok, few dvds i can watch when im bored, new clothes some nice aftershave or somethin.. i hope i get some CK one from someone this year cuz i love that shit
but ya, it looses its magicalness when you're not a kid anymore.. stayin up all night outa excitment and then eatin round the family dinner.. now its just a few memebers of the family like my aunt and a few cousins n my dad and an excuse to get stoned n absolutely rat arsed
