Cooltube question
I`ve been backwards and forwards on which lights to use for flowering i want to use an HPS but not sure where to dump the heat, i have a 8x10 room with a fitted closet built in which is 2x2. My question is would it be ok to vent the HPS lamp into the rest of the room or should it be ducted outside the house.
I hope this makes sense, please get back to me.

Cooltube question
You wouldn't want to vent it into the same room, since the whole purpose of the tube is to keep the room cooler. You could have it set up where it pulls air from the room and vents it out of the room, or pulls air from outside the room and vents outside the room. Not necessarily outside the house, but outside the room. You can use the heat from a 1kw cool tube to heat part of the house if you're creative and save some on heating bill during the winter.

Cooltube question
Wait, i think i mis-understood your question. Are you just growing in the small 2x2 closet? If so then you could most definitely vent to the larger room. I'd have that set up so it pulls air from the 8x10, blows across the light, then right back out to the 8x10 so it makes a complete circuit. Then have a separate exhaust for the small room for ventilation.

Cooltube question
if you don't "scub" the air before exhausting it into your home it's gonna smell REALLY STRONG in your entire house. if possible exhaust air outside if you are not on the 1st floor. just take a walk around your house frequently to make sure the smell is dissapating before it reaches ground level. i vented my grow through the soffet on the third story and there is never a smell at streetlevel. good luck

Cooltube question
carbon filters work well so you shouldn't have any problems with smell that a little nag champa can't fix. i burn it all the time, especially at harvest time and it covers any "shady" smells pretty good.
