Hello everyone. This is my first time posting here. Its nice to meet you all.

Well upon joining this great website I already have a question that I could really use some advice on. Now, I am not a "newbie" when it comes to marijuana. I know the differences of Indicia and Sativa and I tend to actually like the Sativa strains more.

Anyways, to the point. I have a friend who has a cannabis card. He regularly goes up to Los Angeles to get the best herb I have ever seen. He explained to me that they have tons of strains. Hazes(purple haze, super silver haze), Skunks, purples, whites, you name it (sounds like heaven to me).

I recently tried sensi star and I loved it. The high was fantastic. Great all around Indica dominant herb. But, it gave me "couch lock" and it seemed to be the weed where you sit around with the homies and watch family guy and then fall asleep.

While I loved it I tend to lean in the area of Sativa.

My question to the very experienced marijuana users on this forum:

What is the best, highest quality, herb available today that I would like. Keep in mind I enjoy the *clear*, energetic (not couch lock), mild hallucinagenic high of sativa.

And if you could name off the top three best sativa strains out there, indica strains, mixes, and three of your personal favorites (please include if its Indica, sativa, what the high is like and why you enjoy it if you could).

Its hard to say, really. Most people just call their weed whatever they want, so it makes going off of names difficult. My advice would be to ask your friend to talk to the people at the club. Thats what I do when I am looking for something in particular. They are usually very knowledgable about what strains they have, and what will give you the desired effect.

If possible, get a card yourself.

I could go look up the technically best strains of sativa for you, but I'd rather not, since I'm at work right now lol.
But I'll let you in on my personal favs. I consider my self somewhat of a conasuier (although i dont know how to spell it lol)
This year I grew a strain called Sour Diesel, it is a one hit wonder, head rush everytime.
I love it, its a sativa strain, and I can tell you I am no one hit wonder, unless its hash oil...that shit knocks you out lol but its not my fav lol.
Second I'd have to say is last year I grew some Trainwreck that was excellent. Mild hallucinatory and I laughed a lot...which is unlike me lol
But my favorite that has blown me away I believe you actually mentioned in your post was the Super Silver Haze.
I've grown it and so has quite a few of my buddies, even a buddy who is a bad grower grew it and it was dank.
I'd really suggest trying it out for a nice sativa high and lasting as well.

For indika's its a little more difficult for me. I'm pretty active so I also am very into Sativa's
The best indika plant I ever smoked was grown by a buddy of mine, it was called Purple Erkel.
It rocked us very nice, long lasting, and relaxing.
Other than that I'm not so sure what I'd suggest. I'm rarely impressed by indika high's but that is just a personal preferance. I notice that a lot of indika highs give me sort of a bad attitude. Which is something I really dislike in my weed.

I picked up some outdoor Silver Haze a couple weeks ago from a club in LA, and it was pretty good. I think it may be what you are looking for, but like I said, ask the people there whats in stock.
