maybe i wasnt clear......i myself never said that it would be a pedophile issue, but at that time it was the opinion that seperating the site with an adult section would leave kids in the crosshairs, ie an adult and under 18 chat...see what i mean? besides, it wasnt my decision..wasnt even this owner, and i wasnt even a mod at the time.....

I think this is a good site for younger people... there are some pretty wise people here to guide and help our youth...

Better them be here then someplace they can get hurt. IMO, the younger group is in a safe place.

Now, if they'd only learn to NOT bring their stuff to school alfreakinready.:areindeer:

I love this forum because I like to learn, ya i'm one of the many minors on here but i'm not imature about it. Maybe you should make parts of this forum for people above the age of 18, such as the sexuality section? Not only is this site here for information about marijuana but also about life in general i've learned quite a few things over the time i've been here and also alot about marijuana. If i were to get banned i'd understand why, but it wouldn't keep me from reading posts here. This site is full of inspirational characters and great people and if there should be a age restriction on learning then i say so be it, but as far as im concerned it dosn't seem like that big of a deal.

I think there would be a place for an adult section on this site. Being older (mid 20s), I can identify with the older folks on this site much easier. We all have the same experiences of paying mortgages/rent, perhaps taking care of a family, and we all deal with the same fear of hiding our hobby properly from our employers; and unfortunately sometimes, our family and friends. A lot of us have more money and can appreciate and afford the finer points of the hobby like exotic strains, expensive growing equipment, and ingestion equipment like vaporizers and elaborate bongs. The older you are, the more you have to lose.

I sometimes feel bad for some of the younger kids that are forsaking school and their family lives for this hobby. An adult's maturity lends itself to making better choices, including the use of the herb in moderation as an addition to our lives.

Perhaps the younger guys will learn to emulate some of the older members here and learn something. I don't know. However, I don't think it's particularly helpful to our society to help these kids dupe their parents by teaching them to pass drug tests and so forth. Family first, everything else is secondary, even herb. I wouldn't appreciate someone teaching my kids to outwit me.

I do see the many valid points on this thread.

In general I think the underage crowd can benefit from this site. I wish I had it available when I was younger. If you read the fourms you can see how the information and exchange of ideas can help the youth.

However I think an adult section would benefit this site. I feel this is an important market that is being ignored. It would be nice to have a section where we could carry on a conversation with out the "Im sooo stoned...r u?" posts.

But it is interesting to me on one hand they are saying they don't want the gangster attitude. But on the other they are playing into that same image.

Still love this site and will stick around to see what evolves.

well think about this....i see soft core porn on this site right now. that may be of minors....not good..i am sure you guys know the thread...the sexy pic one...and another point what would happen if one of the kids has a parent that wants to press charges for an adult on this site contributing to the deliquency of a minor...think about that

I think the sexuality section is still appropriate for minors as long as they are given healthy advice but that;s opening a can of worms, who's to say what's healthy?
