Despite the fact you aren't supposed to ask for hookups etc. some people still have their AIM accts on here. If a 14 year old were to make a post about how he/she is have problems scoring bud, a pedo could easily IM that child and start talking to he/she outside the forum.

Sorry, I just don't understand how the fear of Pedophiles is reason to shoot down the adult only area...

I just don't think any place on the internet is safe from online predators and can't comprehend how a adult only section would encourage that kind of person. As it stands now, this site seems to have a lot of minors on here. That seems to me like it would encourage pedophiles to hang out here more so than an adult section.

Wouldn't they tend to stay away from something that is adult oriented...? and flock to something that is flooded with kids, some of them to trusting.
I am still grappleing with that comment... AIM,Yahoo,MSN are the pedo targets,,,an open forum IMO has way less a chance to encourage pedo behaver... I thought about the "No PM" rule,,,I can clearly see how that is a deterrent... I am trying to correlate an adult section being a magnet and in my mind the open forum there again would put the kibosh on a perv...
Skink Reviewed by Skink on . just another question about cannabis.com we have all these rules here, for the better of our community. now i recently read them for the first time, to keep myself from getting the lifetime ban..so anyway i see all these rules like no mom talk no selling because it will get this site in trouble with Leo. why would this site let people become members that are under 18... i say this because most countries and states with relaxed marijuana laws say 18 is a appropriate age. minors for the most part have little or no money to buy products Rating: 5
