u need some sort of picture editor. u would just shrink the size of the pic or shrink the pixels.

If you have paint program on your comp you can shrink strech do what ever
to a pic.After you resize save as gif image.very easy

export it into PSP or similar and alter the properties of the image and save as Jpeg after resizing

Duppy, I'm sure what you said is really good advice but please explain it again and remember that, in Latin, I am computerium retardius.

1st upload a avatar of your choice the save it into my documents or my photos..well not in mine.. in yours'' then if you have a program that you can edit pictures/ like paint shop pro select browse and open my documents or my pics select the avatar for editing resize photo and save as jpeg this should allow you to use it on the web...sorry if this is'nt very clear I'll try it myself and let you know
