cant ever remember anything............

this has been a on going thing all my life, i cant remember shit...........

i knows its not the herb cause i couldnt remeber anything then and i cant remember anything now, now it can be something very simple like taking something to work with me.

i will leave it on the table next to my keys to remember it.......grab the keys....and leave then remember 3/4 of the way to work i left it behind.

its really fucking annoying somedays when my GF will tell me something she is doing the next day then i dont remember then she tell me again you really start to feel like a idiot.

at work....fuck i cant believe im not fired......

this shit sucks, i not mental....i dont take any meds.....drink.....just smoke herb nothing else.....WTF!

I have the same problem. You just need to find way's to cope with it. Personally, I have A.D.D, although the condition is thrown around a lot(it seems every hyper active child has A.D.D these days) it can be frustrating at times, you just need to find ways to get around it. Personally, I try little tricks like your key one. Although, as you've stated, they aren't fool proof. I do step it up a little in the sense that I would have put whatever it was on top of my keys. I also like to write notes. Copious amounts of notes. I'm on my computer all the time, so lets say I need to copy a note for a friend, I put the note on my keyboard.

Also, Weed has little to do with it. From what I've researched, weed does not in any way permanently cause short term memory loss. Unless your a burnout, e.g. smoke enough to be stoned all day (which is not a bad thing IMO, if it doesn't affect you negatively), it would not affect your being forgetful. Of course if would in a lot of instances, like when your stoned, and your boiling water for craft dinner, you walk downstairs and look at the T.V, then go upstairs two hours later and see absolutely no water in the pot...

So I know how it is. There is no cure, just little things you can do to make it easier.

And by no means is ritalin the answer. Damn ritalin.

I tend to be the same way. I'm absent-minded, and it's getting worse as I get older. Also, if I'm concentrating on other stuff, I can be very distracted and not remember what I'm doing or where I've put stuff. Also, I know I have a touch of ADHD. I've never taken meds for it and it doesn't interfere with most other areas of my functioning, but it makes it hard for me to remember things because my focus isn't always fully on what I'm doing. I'm often aware of being distracted, and I often put things away and later don't remember what I did with them. And unless I write things down, there's no guarantee I'll remember what people tell me. I've had to develop alternative methods of keeping organized and keeping notes and lists to help me focus better and stay more organized. I'm not a drinker or a drug user and don't take any meds. I'm just a space cadet. Welcome to the club!

hahaha i forgot i made this post until now, i try and deal with it the best i can but some people dont understand it, they think im dumb but whatever.

atleast my GF understands it thats where i really need it i dont want her to think i purposely do this to her so i can get out of whatever she asked.

when I am working I can't remember where I laid the hammer down last... I think it more of thinking of what I will be doing next,,,I focus on the next so much i just don't know what I did last... I can't seem to change this pattern but,,, I think it can be done,,,I just have to relax more and not be so much in a hurry to do the next thing...
