I do concur that pot smokers are more open minded than the rest of the population as a whole.

I honestly think that has to do with the fact we are doing something that is deemed illegal (at least in most areas.) I think getting the attached stigma of us all being criminals, it opens your mind to other social taboo's.

I'm sure the fact that pot is a mild psychedelic (therefore "mind opening") has alot to do with it to it too... perhaps more so than the legal status

Kid A Reviewed by Kid A on 12-20-2006. I've been to a lot of message boards... ...and the pot related message boards are the only ones that have never banned me for having opinions and speaking them. What does that say about our subculture? Everyone claims to value free speech, but it seems to me that stoners are the only ones who actually live by it. And it's not just our opinions that don't get censored, it's also our choice of words. We can say things like fuck and shit all we want, and no one cares! Isn't that cool? Rating: 5
