Geeking out while you wait is a great idea man, welcome to the boards. Most noobs just start with questions w/o trying to read anything on their own, which is what makes the difference between a grow and a good grow, you sound like you're on the right track man. Do your homework first, and you'll be better prepared to handle problems that pop up along the way.
