    moving 3 plants?

if I had to move 3 plants, in mid january, plants being 1 - 1 1/2 months old, possibly entered into the flowering, with 1000hps.

just wondering, anyone have any expereince moving plants? I was thinking the best idea would to be, if in flowering, go into room right before lights about to shut down after 12 hours, put plants in either multible garbage bags, or maybe a hockey bag,or large duffle bag.

they would need to go 2 hours....then, setup the new light and timer, and let plants out when the 12 on would normallt start again.

    thanks:rastasmoke: :rastasmoke:

or would you suggest moving them during the veg stage, this way ill get 1 month and a half of good solid veg in...that might be a treat

Having no real experience with this, I could only tell you my opinion on what I would suggest.

I would first have to say that you are lucky you are not in hydro...particularly a NFT system. That'd be a nightmare.

    How far are you moving?

I'd say, move them at the END of the dark cycle. Grab them about 30 mins to 1 hour before lights on, and move 'em. Be gentle!!

I'd move them during veg instead of flowering. Like you said, you would get more veg time...plus they can be abused more during veg without causing a hermie, from what I've read.

    Hey BIG PAPA

    Where are you movig them?
    How far?
    Just the containers?
Will a light be set up at the new location?
How long will it take to transport them?

#1 concern... LEO - don't move them when FLOWERING. they will STINK!! and give you away!

#2 concern- breaking branches!!! yikes I would not use bags.... unless they are huge 50 gallon garbage bags that you can genlty manuver..
I would use a giant rubbermaid tube...

but that advice may change after you tell me that the plants are 5 feet tall..

    LOL
    cheers

    moving 3 plants?

    hey knowm

just be moving them from a grow room to a new grow room setup in a basement.

its about 90 miles (2 hour drive)

yes, i am just going to need to move the 3 plants and there pots

the light will be setup upon arrival with plants

i think the rubbermaid idea works the best, because these plants 1 month and a half shouldnt be too large, and I am going to take your suggesstion, on moving during veg, the last stages of veg
