Running smokers?
Every time I try to do a search for something I honestly keep forgetting most of the replies with certain situations and activities and smokers refer to "cigarette" or "tobacco" smokers. So I can't really find any accurate information so I'm gonna ask here. If I jog or run daily could it help keep my lungs healthy even being a cannabis smoker? I mean of course now I know it couldn't hurt but I'm wondering if there are any real benefits that could come from running or would it be pointless since I'm smoking anyways?

I think the cardiovascular exercise would be beneficial. Exercise helps improve your cardiovascular fitness, beneficially exercises the heart and lungs, improve your vital (lung) capacity, keep your lungs clear, and helps keep your veins and arteries in good shape. It just does tremendous things for both your body and psyche. Even as a cananbis smoker, it'd still be beneficial, I'm sure. But you're right that you likely won't find any research on this. Unless someone's researching it in another country, that is. There likely aren't research studies being done on the specific cannabis-exercise combination, at least not in America. But we do know that cardiovascular exercise has lots of benefits.

Do it.
It certainly can't hurt you to exercise.
I'm not sure how much it helps keep your lungs healthy, but I smoke as much or probably more than you do, and I run a few miles every single night, as well as play basketball, and my lungs and I feel great. Never had a smoker's cough or anything.
Just do it, man. Regular exercise makes you healthier in your body and your mind.
Plus, there's nothing better than finishing a 3 mile jog off with some fat bong rips. :smokin:

Staying physically fit will help your body run efficiently....the more efficient the body works the better it can absorb oxygen, repair itself yada yada yada.
So yeah, excercise of any type will help your body clear itself of any toxins...besides the ladies love a fit stoner!!! :yippee:

Yeah I was doing it anyways but I just wanted to know if I was just wasting my time
. I guess not and yeah. I'll continue to try and stay as healthy as I can. And I haven't forgotten about the doctor. I'm still going. I might get a bit discouraged to go on to find out what is going if they ask for blood though

Don't worry about the doc and blood...if no one is paying for it they won't test for it....I just got blood drawn for cholesterol...no worries:smokin:

Do it! Just start easy and remember to warm-up.
In the summer.... I used to enjoy going for a walk for 15-20 minutes and smoking a J - then I would run all the way back (10 mins) so I had a warm-up, J and then 10 mins of good cardio.
The high was actually better IMHOMinds are like parachutes, they both work best when open.

all I do is jog in place or dance then do pushups when my legs get tired. my heart rate stays up and I've noticed I'm more cut in the upper body. I also squeeze a forearm exerciser while doing the cardio. each workout is between 20-30 minutes 2 or 3 times a week, and I take walks in my hilly neighborhood, which is always fun cuz I find a chill spot to blaze as if I'm in jr high or something.
I always puff before working out. after a week or two of exercising after smoking, you tend to feel a craving for the runners/cannabis high and will exercise with ease.
obviously exercise is always good, and I mostly do it cuz there's heart disease in my family, but I've noticed it's especially enjoyable combined with weed.
