Hydro: Bubbler Style - a story in the making.
Hey Torog, here is my pic to explain how these bubblers work, it is as simple as possible, and cheap too.

Have a good one...Torog

The grommet would help I think, but I just drill a hole through the lid, and that seems to work.

Hydro: Bubbler Style - a story in the making.
I thought I would post some new pics, here we are 9 days into flowering, I also got me a new reflector for the 400HPS, got the "Pro" from hydrofarm, with a lens on it, I like it much better than my old one (lightwave) and the light seems more uniform... But as for the plants, these things are getting HUGE!! They have doubled in size since I started them in flowering, I am getting concerned for the space the three of them occupy. I cannot determine the sex just yet, but soon I hope...

PS that other plant in the pics is a soil plant at 5 weeks flowering, it looks so small in comparison..I need to think of something clever to put here...

Hydro: Bubbler Style - a story in the making.
I have cut down 2 of my plants, as they were males. The remaining one is looking very healthy, 18 days flowering, 20" tall, and showing pistils all over the place
The damaged leaves are from the HPS before I got the lens, I was moving things around and touched the bulb with the plantBut all in all the plant is very healthy, and vigorous, little buds are starting to form on the tops.
The other plant is my skunk/blueberry at 6 weeks flowering. (soil)

I picked some up because the name sounds so appealing, anyways i was hoping someone would have an idea how to mix it in conjuction with my regular bloom nutes? big bud is 0 1 4 and my blooming nutes are 3 12 6 if anybody as any advice it would be greatly appreciated. happy growing!

Hello,
jimmy5150 - I have been researching Advanced Nutrients for quite some time now. DR. Hornby's Big Bud is an awesome product. It will greatly help with your bud set and development.
I would suggest using it at the recommended doses, as per the instructions.
10 grams per 20 liters of nutrient solution in your resevoir.
Lordsoth - Sorry to hear about the males. Glad you ended up with a female though.
How is your BB x skunk smell now that it is in full flower. Heavy odor?
Take care guys
Peace
Hope this helps.

Student: The BB/skunk hardly smells at all... and the thing is, that I'm not positive 100% about the genetics on that plant anyways, I got the seeds from a friend in Belgium, and he said that's what it is, but not from a seed bank, from his garden. But anyway, the smell it does give off is heavenly, very sweet and friuty, and a bit skunky.
Jimmy5150: Nice looking plants, what light are you using?
