you`ve done your homework!
i got just a few questions.
on the lids of the res. are they white?
i know the net pot covers are, but i mean the lids that they sit in.
i see from the pic the bottom is blackish, i use the same type of res, black rubbermaid, no light penetration.
this is just a sugestion tho. i use a dropcloth type thing i get from home depot.
it`s white paperlike material on one side, and white plastic on the other. very useful for reflecting light up under plants. very cheap too, and easy to work with. one pkg can cover a number of res. of that size.
you should do very well with that set up, my only concern is, will the plants over grow their intended space? with pruning and some plant training, i think they should be ok. now i`m starting to babble. hahaha. i`m am excited as you. i feel like a proud father, like when his son hits his first homerun, or makes his first touchdown etc.etc.
