I wouldn't chance it on the brownies, some people who have never really been high react poorly to getting STONED. Just watch out, and make the potency super low because eating is alot more of an effect than smoking. I know the first time I tripped on brownies I was a bit scared.

It actually occured to me that my oma LOVES hot chocolate, so making some 'special' hot chocolate could perhaps become her nighttime routine.

This kind of thing truly saddens me when I think of how THC can literally be used for medicinal purposes and not because some lame teen is saying that to get it legalized. It's so sad =X. I wouldn't be dishonest to her, get as much information about it to her as you can, sit down and talk to her. Possibly get her to talk to her doctor, they're not going to tell anyone about what she says and who on god's green earth would arrest her for using it for this purpose.
Truly saddening.

That would explain why she feels so numb and out of it during the day. I just think it will be hard to approach her with this info... but we will see how it goes. I will know in the next three days how it turns out. Keep ya posted.

make her pot brownies or something. cook with cannabis. also, try giving her just enough to give her a slight buzz, but not get her high. she would still benefit from the THC as well as be able to function normally (she might freak the first few times she is high, and cooking with weed gets you SO much higher). just my 2 cents.

Heres an another article to show her...all older people should be smoking weed. I couldn't get my husband to smoke it until I showed him this article and a few others. He is 20 years older than me so we have to keep his brain healthy

Good news for aging hippies: smoking pot may stave off Alzheimer’s disease.
New research shows that the active ingredient in marijuana may prevent the formation of deposits in the brain associated with the degenerative disease.
Researchers at the Scripps Research Institute in California found that marijuana's active ingredient, delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, can prevent an enzyme called acetylcholinesterase from accelerating the formation of "Alzheimer plaques" in the brain more effectively than commercially marketed drugs.
