Godbud x Dreamweaver; from seed to clone...

hi everybody... my first statement to you all, is that all this is plagerized from someone else. i have nothing to do with any of this other than the stuff i invent here for kicks and smilies all of this is fake and made up and not real and total bs and completely imaginary....so...

i placed two of the gbxdw beans on a paper towel in a plate. first day, nothing, had to moisten towel. second day, and one has popped, with a little tiny tail (sorry, no stolen pix yet). i planted it tip down this evening, flush with the soil, and put her under a double tube flourecent (ge daylight, 6500k 40w 3050lum ea.) soil is recycled from several previous grows, and has been flushed thoroughly....godbudxdreamweaver #1 is good to go. name? hmmm........... to be continued.......

so, here is #1... yep, just a seed, right in the middle. the container is a quart sized pot. the other bean hasn't showed any sign of germination yet... so i may put another one on the plate tomorrow, if no root tip shows...

so, this would be day one for #1

    end of day 1...

second seed shows no sign of germination, so i threw two more on the plate. #1 has split the seed shell, the taproot is begining to push it up. sorry, no pix tonite. not much has changed anyway...

temps are at 78f, good circulation (using a box fan for ventilation and circulation)

    so, we'll be back tomorrow

Cute seed pic kp. Its amazing watching that little thing grow into something millions of times its size, huh? Cloning is great, but there is something about starting from seed that is fun too, like the waiting to see if its gonna pop is all suspenseful and crap. I'm just high rambling, but can't wait to see some greenery from them beans.:greenthumb:

Btw, sounds like great genetics, I can't wait to get some decent seeds to start, but it looks like I didn't have too bad of luck with bag seed. Smoke report in like a month will tell for sure :stoned:

    Well Kindprincess,

I break out the camera for ya since I a seeded female at about ten weeks into flowering. Looks very sweet my partner will be sampling a bud this weekend. I have 30 more days of probation to sweat out.

#2 has shown a tip! gess i put the other two in too early... oh well, maybe we'll have four instead of two...

so... now we have #1 at one day, and #2 just planted... i'm thinking #1 will have a head poking up tomorrow. hmmm, i gotta think of some names...

if i haven't mentioned already, i'm using recycled soil, so i'll not have to feed for a month or so, even with the extreme preflush. i know most don't recomend this, but it seems my babies love it (kinda like a starter soil) so i'm going to keep it up. the mix is, 2 cubic feet of perlite, lots of bacto (mostly cow doo) and a bag of mg garden soil mix. all is used and spent, with phosphate based nutes, so after flushing several times, the ph is around 6 and there should still be trace phosphates which seem to improve root growth.

well, there's the latest...the center three are the gbxdw, the 4th on the outside is an oddball hybrid...

KP - Sounds like crappy soil... Should be great. You getting into hydro with these ones? If so, shoot me a hush.

Did you get the HIDs. They are MH but REALLY strong in the red spectrum so I thing you could Veg with them just fine.

You are just getting started...Check out Growth excel (advanced nutrients)as a foliar feed. Not to expensive because you don't use much but I saw incredible results in soil with it. You will be flowering way sooner if you use it.

Let us know the strain info I have heard no details on these strains.

Peace Love and Kindness - Jay

Keep the pics coming...I am busy these days but will be checking in. If I get seeds for x-mas I will get myself a thread together..

ok, day 1 and day 2... for ease, we'll call today "day one" for the both of em.

#1 was sticking up a mm or so, i coaxed the husk off the head, so i expect to see some growth tomorrow...

    # was in the same boat... i only got half of it's shell off though, i'll have to wait until it comes up more to get the rest (i find that the removal of the husks fast forwards the plant about 4-5 days... less time changing from bean to green)

so, the pix aren't too exiting yet, but here they are (just got dsl)

cj, my soil is only about 20% "crappy" and that is the black kow where offline can i get the excell? as far as strain info, all i have now is word of mouth. i'm going to have to take a look around... now hush! i'm talking now

    love, kp

    btw, the dog says "hi":noel:
