I plant my seeds right into the rockwool...If seed doesn;t sprout...I dig it out and insert another seed. peace
rw works great for my cuttings, just not for beanies... seems like it stunts growth until the root hits soil.

It looks great! I just wish I had some jars filled like you do- I am out and I am so tempted to just pick off leaves...but that's a no-no....mommy be patient! Weed weed everywhere and not a bud to smoke

Where did you get your fan? Can something suitable be found at Lowes?

    Love ya!

What is that broken guitar doing in your growroom? How did you break that futon headboard? hehe...Need us to come with a clean up crew? I see no reflective surfaces? (well, maybe that white cinderblock)

Anyway, I'm just pickin' on ya, girl. No worries. Your plants are looking great regardless. Looking forward to some awesome flowering pics coming soon! :stoned: (I'd give ya rep but it says I can't until I spread it around more!)

I just went and peeked a little at the Cannabis College sticky and whoa, I gotta read through that soon. LOTS of good info. You rock, KP.

P.S. I've got a bunch of surprises up my sleeve for the JOURNAL coming up soon, so keep your eyes out!

OH yea...Knowm you just reminded me that I didn't give my :twocents: about rockwool...

It's GREAT! But beware of the different qualities of rockwool. Stay on the lookout for those blocks that were machine layered as opposed to hand 'clumped.' If it is of good quality, it will make a big difference due to it's ability to hold just the right ratio of water/air so as not to drown your plants nor starve them.

Keep your rockwool moist, but not sitting in water. When working with clones, mist 3 times daily...and when I say mist, I mean get most of the water on the rockwool!

Otherwise, there's not much you can screw up...with the rockwool, that is. Of course you'll also want to keep your humidity and temperature under control, and give the proper amount of light for the height and maturity level of the plant.

    Oh...and keep them covered...wretched mold!

    Then, you're golden. RastafarI.

Here's some pics of seedlings in RW (dropped in after germ)...and on the left are clones transplanted into RW.

    hiya f<r>og! ok, answer time...

the broken guitar is my first guitar. it is there temporarily, until i find another wall to hang it on. she is not going anywhere

futon is years old and is something we found while preparing this room. instead of pitching it, i'm using it as an elevation table.

as for reflective, three walls are white, old cinder block, the third, new wall is completely mylar'd. the room is too big for me to picture it all together, and theres nothin against the wall right now...

and....... it IS cleaner than it looks... i promise, it's just been a basement for a loooooong time.

the jars are my best bb pheno's, the small bottom buds (last of the last) the bags are the best cola sample of each plant last grow (quickly being depleted)

good to see you fog, come by more often

lb mom, i got this fan at a flea market 10$ LOUD!!!! and uses a LOT of power (dk, label is worn off). i'm going to get a variable speed controller to slow it down, draw less juice. i haven't seen these at lowes, but i see them in old country hardware stores alot, and if you can salvage off of an old factory or mill, you'd be amazed at what's there!!

hi proglo, good to hear from you glad you like the new getup

    see you all later

Those plants are looking pretty good. Better then mine right now(hopefully I have the camera by this weekend). But I have learnt alot through trial and error and will be better educated next time. Don't think you competition has died though, I plan to at least try and keep up. I think I screwed myself a little by listening to my husband and buddy. They said I should throw all the plants into flower at once, so silly me did. I wanted to start with 2 plants and add two more each 2 weeks to keep it pretty constant and to give each plant what it needs and let the little ones catch up.

!!!OK the plants have only been in flower light 3-4 days what could happen if I pulled the 3 northerns and put them back under the MH 18/6. Could they hermi on me, they are definate females in preflower for a few weeks. I don't want to waste the potential yeild by having too many under the light. Plus I would real like more time to tie the northerns and get a few more branches pulled out from under a chance to catch up, plus the are short and I don't see them becoming a height issue anytime soon. I would take anyones opinions right now or ideas to bounce inside my head.
