you have to have a rez big enough to flood your tray...that's it. bigger rez allows more margin of error when it comes to topping off the rez.

Reservoirs Hi to all and Merry Chrismas I posted this in the wrong thread earlier today, so here go's Is there a rule for what size the reservois to the size of the tray?I have a 22"x22"x7" flood and drain tray with hydroton clay.4 plants in net baskets.I'am veg and cloneing in the same cab.then flowering in the closet tray.So for a tray that size what would be the gal size of the reservoir?
