the uk is flooded with (so called) brickys from eastern europe
uk new build houseing has been on the slack since aug 05
ive had loads gangs calling on my jobs looking for work all year
tarmac,cellcon and others are now makeing preformed brickwork panals, thinjoint blockwork and the like to do away with problems and agrovation involved with masonary constructiion
im not saying dont do it but its gona be tough times for uk construction industry over the next 5 years

especialy for the young and underskilled

they been doing them panals for years same as timber structure,and concrete prefab,i personally dont think it will ever take over. on the point u made about gangs calling looking for work,all i can say is they cant be anygood,i have people approach me asking if i can do some work for them not the other way round,but if i did need some work 5 mins on the phone and id have some,theres a shortage of good brickys if ur good at your trade u will always have work:jointsmile:
