Question re Curing

How do you cure your plants, and what's the purpose for doing this? I hear about people doing this but I have not a clue what it really is. Thanks for your time.

curing is keeping your bud after harvest in a glass jar or some kind of container in the dark for a certain amount of time which then cures the bud so to spk, you see bud is like wine it gets better with age as long as air isnt attacking it or sunlight...ive had some nice results storing a jar or 2 for 6 months in the dark under mild temps! www.overgrow.com will have more answers to more questions on curing
