i don't see why not. christmas day, dec.25th isn't even christ's birth or death- day anyways, right? Christmas as we know it now has nothing to do with religion, therefore i don't see what the problem is when it comes to releasing a horror movie on that date.

in the movie companys view, that is a great day to open a movie because it is one of the busiest days at movie theatres.. and that lady that is bitchin is just stupid

I agree with you guys, but a little bit more about her view point. Keep in mind this is all from memory, and my memory ain't to good. She was saying most of hollywood and most of America are starting to become godless. She was saying it is a intended slap in the face to Christianity.

Either way, I think the woman is crazy for going to Fox with this. Must have been a slow news day, they also had a thing about hornymannatee.com (not sure if I spelt that right.) But it is Conan's site.

I'm christian and I don't like the idea of it. It is the day some of us still look at that day as remembering Christ. But if others want to see it I'm not gonna stop them. I just look at it as how stupid and messed up the world is.

Yes, people should be able to release a movie any day of the week, no matter if historians decided december 25th was the birthday of jesus christ.
