halo vs halo 2

i've liked halo ever since its came out and i've never once got bored of it.. but which would you say is better? multiplayer wise and single player

halo 1s defintly got better single player.. but its hard to decide which has best multiplayer.. i like halo 1's multiplayers maps better because it has sidewinder and plus i fucking HATE lock out on halo 2 which everyone plays on xbconnect.. which is basicly a free version of xbox live but its no where near as good, cant use live cuz of my xbox bein chipped.. xbconnect is ok only problem is its mainly people from countrys like america and ausi that use it which isnt good for me bein in europe cuz that means lots of lag..

also they took away the assult rifle on the second one which was my fav weapon.. halo 2 does have some good maps too but they should of left sidewinder in.. also halo for pc has that extra map thats like in the forest which is a good map too..

anyways which do YOU think is best?

oh and if anyone has xbconnect add me and ill give ya a game you can lay halo 1 online as well with xbconnect

Halo 1 is alot better. I played it the other day and missed the fuck outa it.

Even though halo 2 is good. Got up to a level 42 on Xbox Live. But its impossible to play now because of cheaters.

Cant wait for halo 3 though.

Anyone whos says anything good besides the Live multiplayer aspect of Halo 2 is a fucking moron, there is no comparison other wise besides that one thing.

i dont know about UK, but in america, you cant play halo1 on xbox live. also halo2 is mutch better than halo 1, because 2 has better graphics, better maps, more glitches, superbounces, etc. also the guns are mutch better tand duel weilding is fun. the battlew rifle is an all around better rifle then the halo 1`s assault rifle, the assault rifle is weak, and it shoots like an SMG.

But thats what made halo 2 suck. Glitches and Superbounces not account of the Standbying and modding. Halo 1 you can play xbox connect. You can download it on the internet anyone can play it. It tricks your xbox as if its a system link.

And halo 1 was about the pistol. Not about the Assault Rifle. But yea, halo 2 is still fun and I play it as much as I can.

nah i wasnt talking about xbox live i was talking about xbconnect.. the way you play it online on xbc is threw system link play which makes it so you can play halo 1 too..

another good thing i like about halo 2 is you can beep the horn on the warthog.. and you can use the energy sword too which imo is the best weapon on the game

they shud of kept the pistol from the first one too.. i owned so many people with that thing

the only thing thats tempting me to get a 360 is halo 3 cuz i know they're gonna go all out with the new halo bein the next generation console n all

the original halo i think is way better. halo2 is cool on live, but theres too many damn kids screaming into the mic. im all about the original. i had some good times back in highschool, we used to play the shit out of the game. my friends and i all used to play together, we had some cool names : yourself / kenny / hollywood and stiches. yourself was great, everytime you'd kill him, it'd say you killed yourself~~ or you killed kenny always followed by : you bastard!! fun game, had some good times with it.
