If you're in soil, don't nute yet! (Soil has nutes, and sprouts come with a built in food supply) Wait till your first set of 5 figer leaves are fully formed bfore starting outside nutes.

This time of year, it's hard to find garden products. Check floral shops & greenhouses, not the dept stores.

Also, to help improve soil, check your local 7-11 or whatever. Chances are, there's a fridge in the back with bait. Get a dozen earthworms (earthworms, dew worms, trout worms, red wigglers - NOT mealworms!) and put 'em in with your soil when you xfer to larger pot. You'll be limiting yourself to organic fertilizers, but it's well worth it. Mmmm... plants love worm poop!
