I can finally drive again tomorrow.
So the story is I crashed my car about 3 weeks ago. I had a Vauxhall Astra Turbo fast car. I went out to go to a mates in the rain it was soo wet and slippy. I was driving down a hill and skidded into a Brand NEw Range Rover bout 60 grand.
There was only small scratches on the other persons bumper. My car was written off. It was only about 20mph when I hit them. But the insurance company have completely screwed me. I am 19 and male so a nice target for them. Firstly they say car is not standard. How am I no what alloys were standard on the car was new? The engineer said they were fitted to the car as a dealer specified option. This means the car left the factory with one set of cheap alloys on and then the dealer fitted an upgrade.
They charged me 450 pounds for having the alloys on the car and my excess is 550 pounds. Now to protect my No Claims Bonus I have to pay for the other guys car and just lose my car altogether.
So I bought a new car a really basic VW polo 850 pounds and I have just got the insurance certificate so I can legally tax it. People in the UK will no that before you can buy tax for your car in the UK you have to prove it has an MOT certificate, proof of insurance and proof of ownership,
Not being able to drive has been a nightmare do you no how much we rely on cars. Tomorrow I have to do loads of things because I havent been able to drive. How many people could I ask to give me a lift to my dealer?
The only problem is the car is metallic pink! Not a good colour for a bloke I have to say. But I dont really care because I can drive again. Its winter aswell so I will be mainly driving in the daek lol.Whos Carl Reviewed by Whos Carl on . I can finally drive again tomorrow. So the story is I crashed my car about 3 weeks ago. Aren't they cute? Those cars look so tiny. Of course, I drive my huge truck or my huge van.
It's great that you can drive again...I love driving while stoned.
