You have to base your assesment on some things though. Stage presence, sexuality, how good can they moan, how good can they scream, how good can they sing? Probably Plant, but as nutty as he is, DLR was a great freaking frontman back in the day. I saw Van Halen 2 times with DLR and once with Hagar.

Van Halen concerts were the absoulte shit back then. Really crazy out of control. I never actually got high at a concert back then in highschool, but most everyone else was fried or shitfaced. Saw one show on EVH's birthday and Valerie B was there and they brought a huge fucking cake out on stage. it got on the stage and i remember EVH kind of sliding around on it while jamming..
