"covering the enlcosed aread with tinfoil "
Don't do that- very bad idea and a potential fire hazard.
Only question I have about these tents is..what about ventilation for your plants?

Wardrobe G,
How big you planning on making this thing?
Only thing is, I too looked into growboxes and they seem A LOT of money for what they are.
Being honest I had plans to build a grow area about 2 months ago, but I'm a lazy ass stoner so it's just kinda being finished now.
Each one is about 1.5m x 1.5m, made it using chipboard because its lighter and cheaper than mdf, got it cut at my local diy store: cost of wood £80.
I got full sheets cut down (8'x4') to the sizes I wanted, and then just some screws and other bits and bobs (like brackets) probably in total cost me about £120 for materials.
If you werent as lazy as me, and more importantly had someone around to help you could do it in a weekend, plus get the size you want, and save you the best part of a grand!

mole2k4 these grow rooms are only £100,could get a light for £100 and another extractor fan for £8,be talking about £210 all in for a flowering room,4 plants would repay you within 3 months or even less if you were puttin clones into it every few weeks

was thinking you was buying one of those $1000 systems or something, they seem a bit of a joke.

I used a small closet and made (IMO) a good set up using two sheets of 5/8th inch drywall. I cut it on the backside both so it would not break off, (meaning no tear on the frontside where the white is, the corners are even curved as opposed to square)
The other thing it does is to allow it to be placed inside a closet with the white side of the sheetrock facing inwards. That of course both keeps the light in as well as the white provides fair reflection of light. No fans at all.
I use a 2 ft gro light. Florescent even. I take advantage of bringing in fresh air from the crawl space as well as the heat, (what little there is) and the odor (aroma) drift up through and through an opening to the attic.
It's my first and only try at this type set up. I am building a house with a full size basement and will have no need of using a closet......*S*
