New LED, brighter than CFL for the watts
This is kinda only for the growers, but I thought everyone might find it interesting... http://www.treehugger.com/files/2006...ed_puts_in.php
These supposedly have 240 lumens each one. Could you imagine a bar with hundreds if not thousands of these? Would this work better than some of the current systems? or at least be cheaper or work in smaller spaces?nevaquit01 Reviewed by nevaquit01 on . uhh.... wow. yes it would work far better than any current system. one of my lecturers mentioned how underused and underrated LED's were a couple years back. he mentioned the potential and useful applications it could have... now i truly understand what he meant.
i mean with LED's that bright. you could have it replace so many current lights. those bulky lights on cars can be replaced and since leds are so damn small you can just group it in any shape. you could have a keyring torch that was as bright as current regular lightbulbs. light up a room with your keychain.
