I'm sure Floyd will still be around, but personally, they've definitely grown tiresome and over-played. A spacey band like that can only hold my attention for so long.

Yes, bands like Floyd, Zeppelin, Beatles, The Who will still be popular in the future, just like the great composers are, because they revolutionized music. Luckily we have already forgotten Milli Vanilli, and Criss Cross.

Shit, I got all weirded out the other day when I heard someones cell phone go off and the ringtone was like the fucking Queen of the Night aria from Mozart's Magic Flute.... in like 2506 if they still have any use for ringtones- which they won't I'm sure... well anyway, maybe not kids listening to Pink Floyd but older intellectuals sitting in their studies, lol...
