No, it doesn't look like a lost cause.....you aren't feeding it anything are you? The reason I ask is because you said the leaves are getting darker. and you said the leaves feel dry...Don't water so much, try to water when the pot is very light and then give it a GOOD drink, not just a little.... then wait patiently to dry out again...if you have higher temps you may need to water more often.... remember to not feed it just yet....Here are some pics of a plant that I abused terribly but kept at it (it's the one in the white container in the second pic).....Good Luck! B It may need to be repotted, that will cause droop too.

I water twice a day, sometimes and afternoon waterings are all from the bottom. Because, even with an ozone generator we have recurring mold problems (neighborhood-indoor and outdoor, non discriminating plant mold), and you can only get them to finish by keeping them dryish (when light going off) and therefore semi-fungus free. For the most part, it's 1 cup water per 1 gallon pot size (varies depending on plant) to maintain a garden under these conditions.
So, yes, just hang in there, but I would let them dry out before the next watering.
I brought in an outdoor late bloomer lady last weekend, because it's getting cold this week! This morning there is maybe a scattered 3% yellow, dead leafs (rest are green). Should I worry? Wasn't getting any such thing outside (same pot-have 1000w on her). Think she should need only about 2-3 weeks to finish, the large flowers are popcorn size. Wasn't going to fert again to retain taste, but will that be a mistake at this point?

Looks like yer drowning the babies. Wait till the pot feels really "light" before watering again.
