Grow Quality Cannabis for $5.00 a pound

Letâ??s start with the seed.

To get good quality cannabis, you must start with quality seed. Can you determine the sex of the plant by looking at the seed? Many argue that you can. I say, play the numbers. 80% of all seeds are female and will turn male if stressed too much.

What is stress? Bruising during transplant. Too much or too little water. Too much heat or cold. Too much fertilizer. Too much light. Stress is bad for you and your plants. Much of this stress is avoided by my method of growing. This method applies to the outdoor growth of cannabis, but it can be applied to indoor growth with a few modifications.
Start by purchasing a disposable Styrofoam cooler- often referred to as a â??12 pack coolerâ? (14â?x18â?x16â? approximately). Put 2, 1/8 inch wide by 2 inches long, slits about 2 inches up from the bottom of the cooler (so the worms wonâ??t escape). One on each side, either long or short side. 4 slits, one on each side is OK, but will drain faster. Purchase quality potting or top soil. This ensures a sterile start. Fill the cooler up with soil and add a handful of night crawlers (fishing worms), 6 or more, to the dirt in the cooler. Gently tamp or push down the dirt to remove as much of the air in preparation for the first watering.

Now the lid.

Take the lid, turn it over and put a 3â? to 4â? diameter hole in the center. Make ½ â?? holes in each corner (4 total). Place this on top of the cooler, upside down, so it is flush with the cooler and the dirt inside. Add or remove soil to do this. Fill the rest of the lid with soil so it is mounded or rounded over the edge. This will gradually sink after watering.
Take plain water only and add a drop or tow of any liquid dish soap to the water and stir. This will allow the dirt to absorb the water very quickly. It breaks the waterâ??s surface tension and makes the water â??wetterâ?. Soak completely the first time and let it drain. Add more dirt now if needed.

Then plant one seed or transplant a seedling or clone. Thatâ??s it! The sun warms the container. The Styrofoam insulates and protects the roots from over-heating. It also holds the moisture and holds the heat overnight incubating the plant. Keeping it warm gives the plant what it wants and needs for growth. The worms aerate the soil and add fertilizer safely. No need to feed. The 1/8-inch slits prevent the worms from escaping. Approximate cost is $5.00 per plant.

Donâ??t grow more than 2-3 plants on your property (in Ohio) or youâ??ll end up in jail like me! 999 grams or less and you can argue â??personal useâ? Affirmative defense. At $5 a plant, you can plant on different properties. Even if they are found, you donâ??t lose too much. Just donâ??t lose your freedom!
