Have you got your Quick Fix yet? They used to send it in a bottle that was great to use the day of the test, complete with temp strip on the side. If not by all means don't take the beeping thermometer with. Practice at home and just realize that if it worked at home all will be well. It isn't like you can check the temp with the thermometer while giving the sample, see it is too low, and start a fire. You only have about 5 minutes while in the bathroom to get your business done. Plus the specimen cup they give will have a temp strip on it. If anything you would rather be a few degrees warm than cold. Swirl the sample in the cup and blow on it if it is too high. Like I said if too low it isn't like you can do anything about it.
