    A battered plant

Hi all, I was putting up new tubes for my plant and one fell out of the socket and broke the main stem about 1/4 the way up, so I in a panic put masking tape round it and held it up with a cain. That seemed to do the job because the plant is still growing and producing leaves, the thing is that some of the older leaves are curling up and dying. Would this be due to nutient problems, as I am using Phostrogen and fish/blood&bone mix?
The plant is only 2 months old with only leaves so far, some dark and some light green.
Any ideas people, even ones called YODA???
    Cheers.

well you should try to line the break back up to how it was b4. it hopefully will heal back together. i think you just stressed the plant out and it's fixing itself. Since it's using a lot of energy now it might have needed to eat the leaf.

I have found on several occasions when i top or do a lot of bending on a plant it often looses a fan leaf.

Yeah, it kills one or two so it's not wasting energy, you've stressed that plant pretty bad, but if it heals it should be ok, but it may turn hermie if it's a female, so when you flower be careful and look out.

It's like you getting snapped in half, it's gunenr make you weak for a while.
