Where do conservative Christians go from here?

Conservative Christians,will remain steadfast in their fight to protect,defend and preserve,family values and American ideals and traditions.

Who is to say one persons "family values" are anymore right than the next? Keep your religion out of politics or we will, in the end, be just like the Middle East ourselves.

If God is on the side of conservative Christians and conservative Christians are on the side of the Republican Party, shouldn't Republicans have done better in the recent election?
