should i buy a Wii
i'm going to get it one to have in my lounge room for when my mates come over. i like to entertain and stuff, so quite a few people drop by to hang out.
the Wii is simple and practical. pick up and play.
although i'll also pick up the ps3 just to play mgs4. (i only bought the ps2 to play mgs2).

should i buy a Wii
I will get a wii. Maybe not this xmas, but def by xmas next year. I've been waiting for the Wii for what feels like years. I've stopped playing my PS2 just because Ive played all the games. I dont want an xbox or PS3 because again, I've played all of the games. Might be a new character, but they're all either an fps, or a platformer or just a button masher. Same game, same controls, same bosses. just Diff sounds and graphics. The Wii is the next level in gaming. The xbox and PS3 are on the same level as thier prior units, they're just standing on a step-ladder wearing a costume claiming to be something new.

Wii reminds me of the snes action pad or w/e that stupid thing was for track and field, seems more like a gimmick than the newest Nintendo, kind of silly imo, people don't want to be interactive, they want to sit on their asses and kill shit

should i buy a Wii
well i picked up a 26" hdtv for my dorm room on black friday...had to go for the xbox 360 to take advantage of the 1080i. I think the Wii is a cool idea, but nintendo really shouldve gone further with the graphics. I mean the original xbox can do 720p, and the Wii does the same resolution as the gamecube.

The problem is that us gamers who have been around since tha atari/nes days are sick of just sitting around not moving. We have shit like high blood preassure and bills to worry about now. Plus we don't all 5 hours of dedicated time to play a game. For me and my buds, geting to play wii golf or bowling may be the closest thing we we get to doing the real thing for a while. The wii might not have the best graphics, but I don't have an HD tv and don't plan on getting one soon (unless I win the lotto) so the Wii is fine by me. I see the PS3 and xbox as being the next thing you see in a celebs care, but for the every day joe with kids and other problems. a wii will the the easiest choice. It's cheap, kids friendly, fun, and oh yea did I mention cheap?

Don't get me wrong, I love normal video games, but this new system is great fun.
Shit, if I had an extra 300 layin around, I'd get it, but I'm happy with my 360 for now.
