    some questions about trim.

hi all, my first harvest is getting close and though i know what to do with the bud, i'm not so sure about the trim. i'm going to buy a small screen to process the trim, but this might not be until after new year.
so, how do you experienced growers deal with your trim before processing? do you dry it on paper, in paper bags, on a mesh etc? how do you store it? how long have you stored it for, and do you think the potency was affected? do you store it in a fridge/freezer?
there are some pics of my white russian ladies in the pictures section if anyone is interested.

    some questions about trim.

Well, i normally use the small trim [bud leaves] instead of tobacco.

Dry it and then freeze it over night, it'll make the trichomes fall off easier.

    some questions about trim.

I dry it in a paper bag, then I make hash out of it using the cold water extraction method.

    some questions about trim.

i got about a ziplock sandwich bag full of trim from 4 females and without weighing it, cooked it with 2 sticks of butter. Came out pretty good, but needed two brownies to really soar.

    some questions about trim.

I just throw all my grow trim into a small bucket as I grow. I let it dry thouroughly, so that if you press the curled leaves together, it crumbles. Some of the stuff at the bottom of the bucket is almost dust, it's so dry.

I smoke this trim at times. I don't get high off the leaves, but I can feel a buzz if I'm straight when I smoke 'em... but that may be psychosomatic.

At harvest, all my manicure trim goes into the bucket as well. I let that dry thouroughy, as well.

I then stick the bucket in the freezer for however long it takes me to gather the energy to make hash, but at least overnight. I use the cold water/blender/bubble bag extraction method.

    some questions about trim.

I dry my trim in a paper bag and when there's enough, make isopropanol goo hash out of it.
