if you find a seed in a bag of weed, then somewhere a female was pollinated to produce one. Most likely it came from the same female you are now smoking. I just got one seed from a quarter i recently bought, whcih is a little strange cause if you have seedy bud you would expect more than one to show up in a bag. maybe dealers try to pick out all the seeds so that their buyers won't know about them, or so they can keep the seeds to themselves.

as for the potency question, most people think that pollinated bud is less potent than the normal stuff, but other people don't think it makes much of a difference. the stuff i got that i found a seed in was super strong- my stoner friend said it was the highest he had ever been. so i dunno if seeds=less potent bud...

A single seed in a quarter... probably some stray pollen from a herm that was never cleaned out of the grow room.
My bud lets me pick through his dank for seeds and I just trade him back weight of buds so he comes out even in the end. I'm a seed scavenger!

i don't really understand your question. do you mean, is it possible for a female to be pollinated and not have seeds show up in the bud from her? yes it is possible, because if you are careful, it is possible to pollinate only a couple buds on a female- not the whole plant.

Meh, most of the weed I buy has like hundreds of seeds in an ounce. I hate seeds, I hate schwag(for the most part), and I hate being broke and in school. But it is true that weed with seeds is "less potent" than non seeded weed if you are talking about simply thc/weight=potency simply because the seeds take up space inside the calyx that would have been filled with more thc instead of a seed. But the seeds don't affect the potency of non-pollinated calyxs so seeds don't necessarily make the non-seed part less potent, they just make you get less smokable material.

ok frist cture yes there is seedless bud, it done by getting all the males out of the grow room. outdoors pollin can travel miles so its almost not going to happen. 2nd. if your not growing yr. around then you may want to produce seeds, but if your grow yr around then clone is better b/c you dont have to worry about puting money into males. one other reason for males is breeding.
now in potency, yes seed affects it b/c the plants use their energy for producing seed and not thc. like said by someone else if you want seeds the best way would by harvested pollen and a paintbrush on the lower buds, so you still have seedless bud on top. if i missed anything im sorry. hope this helps.
