As the vapour is mostly thc - you tend to get a cleaner hit/high.

It does of course depend on your herb but the high IS different to smoking.

Warmup time is a couple of minutes and you can keep filling balloons for as long as you can take it - don't pass out

Taste is fantastic - the great thing with the volcano is the variable temp. I used several vapes before from contact ones (not proper vapes imho) to lightbulbs and all that. Hot-Air kicks ass with herb.

For example on the volcano heat setting 7 is something like 203 C - perfect to extract THC. The thing is that thre are other oils and compounds (CBN,CBD) that get realeased too.

Example: If you have a volcano try this -

Break up your herb (don't grind it)
Drop herb into volcano - your herb should be in lumps - too big for a joint! Really rough chunks here!

Set the Volcano to a Low temp say 4.5 - 5

Attach a balloon - take a hit.

The vape with be sooo smooth and sweet, plus not very strong - good for a build up. If you are looking for a Bong-Hit this isn't it.

Remove the herb - break it up some more.

Slap it back on the volcano - another balloon.

Up the temp to 6

Run another balloon.

Remove herb - break up further (or grind it now)

Run a balloon - up temp above 7 and see whats left.

I like this technique as I can build up. I find if I grind weed (or use Kif FFS!!!) and put it in at setting 7 the vapour created can be a bit dense. You can actually cough REALLY bad after taking a vape hit if you are not careful.

The vapour is really fine so you can easily inhale too much and cough - as you are hitting it you might not realise

Good things:

Herb lasts longer

Less smell - don't even think for a minute there is "no smell" that's BS - depends on the weed. I had some Sour Deisel and my room stank like Bob Marley's Ass. But either way Vaping is way "Stealthier" than smoking anything. Plus the vapour has no burn material (Oils, Tar etc) to stick to you and your surroundings - so less smell overall and over time.

Health Benefit OK So Vaping isn't "proven safe" but I'll bet it is less damaging than smoking.

Quit Tobacco OK so this is personal but it helped me quit the evils of Nic0tine. By not smoking spliffs (Remember that us crazy Brits actually put tobacco in our joints) I removed a lot of tobacco and quit it altogether eventually

Bad Things

OK the main one is the Cost - A Volcano in the UK is £300/$600 so this is not a cheap device. However I looked at it this way....

Buy one pack of fags (20) and some rolling papers UK Cost £5 Per week (For rolling spliffs) :: £20/month

1 year of this = £240

So I made a promise (to my girlfriend) that if I bought the Volcano then I would quit smoking tobacco with my herb - and in just over a year the Volcano has paid for itself :rastasmoke:

The other "bad" thing is that the Volcano is so "good". Seriously though - you can go through a truckload of weed (especially at first as you experiment) as Vaping is so much fun. I have been soooo cained with the Volcano and usually after so much smoke I would usually need to break and slow down.

Not with the Volcano! You can just keep filling that baby until one of three things happens:

1. You pass out.
2. You run out of weed.
3. The power goes out.

OK one more "bad" - the Volcano is pretty big, it isn't portable and will not fit in even a Big-ass pocket However you can get a car kit so you can use the Volcano plugged into your cigarette lighter in your car.

Im about 90% sure im gonna buy one of these and you guys really give me some more confidence to go out and get one.
