Popular to contrary belief, at some drive-thrus you CAN walk through. I used to take long walks with an old lady and her dog, and we'd go to a McDonalds about 2 miles away, and just walk through the drive thru.

I guess it depends on where you're at.

i did that once when i went to germany. it was like 2 in the morning and we just pulled into this one town (bremerhaven if anyone knows german cities). the mcdonalds was closed but not the drive thru so my dad and i walked through it and the german lady was kind of shocked... she totally didnt expect a couple americans to walk up to the window and start ordering a cheeseburger in crappy german

My friend used to work at our local McDonalds, in a sort of higher-up postition. When he was on nights and the manager wasn't there, we'd always hang out there and have alot of fun. We would order a quarter-pounder and he'd pack it with EVERYTHING, like 2 patties, a bunch of cheese, pickles (a shitload for me... God I love pickles), lettuce, Big Mac sauce and such.

Sometimes we'd walk up to the drive through-speaker and just have a normal conversation with him like we were on the phone or something.

Also when we went to Toronto we went through a couple drive-throughs on our BMXs, one served us just normally, the other place (a Tim Horton's actually) told us to go away.
