Have you ever had a great trip... but a horrible 'sickness' days later?
Hi guys, this is a long read so I'm sorry, but I'd really appreciate if some of you could take the time and check it out and see if you have anything to tell me, because I'm clueless and honestly a little worried about my well-being. I understand if you don't want to, but any insight at all is very much appreciated. So, here goes:
Last Friday I had an awesome trip. I was laughing and I was DAMN high. I've never been an avid smoker, only ever having done it maybe 5 times in my life now. However, I had never been as high and feeling so good as Friday - but then again, I had never felt so sh*tty in the past as I have had recently, after Friday.
I don't see how I could blame the pot, because the two friends I was with were just as high as me and they felt perfectly fine on the days I felt like ass afterwards, and we smoked the stuff off of the same stems. Another reason I don't want to blame the pot is that on Saturday morning and all the way up until about 1AM Sunday when I went to bed, I felt fine, perfectly normal and I even played an ice hockey game and held a pretty intellectual conversation with my dad. But come the time to sleep...
I was shifting in my bed, could barely sleep and when I finally did it felt like I had gotten no sleep when my dad had woken me up around 8:30AM to go play another hockey game. I felt like I couldn't get up. It wasn't as if I didn't have the will to get out of bed, I just couldn't. I didn't feel like I had the strength or energy to actually lift the covers off of myself, get out of bed and walk around. This was personally disappointing for me because I love playing hockey and I had to miss out on a game for a reason that made no sense to me. I went on and slept all the way until about 5, maybe 5:15PM later that day. When I got out of bed, my entire upper body felt like it would collapse on itself. My vision seemed darkened, although not blurred. My hearing was light. The shower I took, admittedly, felt incredible. I didn't feel like I had the strength to lift my arms or even wash my hair because my fingers felt so fragile and feeble. When I got out, I had to let my hair air-dry because I was too weak to do anything strong enough with a towel.
When I got out of the shower, I went downstairs to try to do some homework. I was OK for maybe half an hour, but around 6:30PM I was continuously dazing in and out of consciousness feeling extremely tired and exhausted. By 8:30 I was back in bed and I slept until about 7:50AM the next morning. I was able to get myself out of bed on time and to school, but it was a very, very strange school day for me. My vision was continuously darting back and forth between objects, much like it does when I'm high. My hearing was skewed horribly, talking too soft because I thought I was obscenely loud and sometimes talking way too loud because I thought I was talking at a normal level. I felt like I had ADD, and I couldn't pay attention to anything for more than maybe a minute - I would continuously pick up on outside noises like bird chirps or some side conversations. I tried, but I couldn't give my teachers any attention. When I went into weight training, (with a spotter) I couldn't bench the bar as stable as when I do with two or three times the weight.
As I went home and the day passed, I continued to feel better and I've been able to pay attention, etc. I didn't go to school today and am feeling quite a bit more recovered, though when I woke up my upper body still felt fairly weaker than it normally does. As well, three remaining effects linger: I have a lack of hunger and even though I am trying to eat, my stomach continuously rumbles and it's as if I have a perpetual-mini-stomache-ache. That, and whenever I make a sudden movement with my head, such as just rotating it to look behind me or when I stand up off the couch, I get a quick sharp pain in my head. It's not never-ending, it just comes and goes very quickly at strange times.
To me, it just doesn't make sense how I could get high one night, feel perfectly normal and athletic and healthy the next, and then just go completely downhill feeling weak and sick. Do you guys even think my smoking had ANYTHING to do with this?Effex Reviewed by Effex on . Have you ever had a great trip... but a horrible 'sickness' days later?
