yep respect for sticking up for yourself but you shouldnt have tried to act like a hardass or said dude to him and definitely not call him a fucking pig. i was unaware it was a crime to smoke cigs underage i thought it was just illegal to buy them. if the cop had really been staking out a seventeen year old for buying cigs than its pathetic, dont get me wrong he is a piece of shit and i agree with that. but in the future dont call him names it will work wonders

a 14 yr old kid might get told off for smoking, cigs would definately be taken from him and the guy who sold them to him would get heavily fined, but no one would arrest him, im aware your older than 14 but same shit man, its ridicules to arrest u for cigs

He wouldnt have gotten arrested if he wouldnt have disrespected the cop. He called him dude for one you never do that to a LEO its yes sir no sir, and then he called him a "fucking pig". If he would have just been polite and remebered his manners than everything would have been fine.

You probably should have never told him you had cigs...he had no probable cause so I don't think he would have searched you if you had just played it cool.

But I will have to give you props for standing your ground...and for attempting to protect the clerk...I used to be a clerk and I would sell alcohol and tobacco to minors frequently. I'm lucky it never came back to bite me in the ass...and it seems you realized you could have fucked the clerk over. I hope he didn't get busted along with you.

Here in Aus cops dont care if you have cigs if you're under 18...like my friend got searched and they knew he was 17....they found cigs ...they put them back in his bag and told us to move along. Also, here you most likely wont get in trouble for buying them.... the only person who gets in shit is the person who sells them to you.

Cops should worry about METH not pot, or underage kids smoking cigs....CA spends 22 million dollars in 2 months to find pot in Humboldt County during the late summer early fall.....and it does no good....because the Meth heads are still running rampent stealing from everybody and sure as shit costing the state more than 22 million in man hours and tax dollars......Govt needs to get priorities strait
