but not for weed, for cigarettes. some stupid fuckin cop has been watchin me and my buddies buy smokes for the past 3 months from the mobil. today, i go in, buy a pack and walk out back to have a smoke. the cop pulls up, says "hey, guys, can i talk to you?" starts questioning me, and my friends about it. he was actin like he was gonna bust me for possesion, sayin "i know theres something your not telling me" so i just tell him the truth. "im 17, and ya i just bought some reds". i reached in my pocket, and the dude pulls his tazer gun out. i was freakin out and said "dude, its just bogies, chill". he was like "oh, dont call me dude" so i apologize and he fuckin starts searchin us. i give him the cigs, and hes like, im gonna need all of your names and phone numbers. so i give him that, and hes like, im gonna need a statment. now, the guy who runs the mobil is the nicest guy youd ever meet. i didnt want to fuck him over like that. so i refuse to give a statment. he says, you have to, blah blah blah. i still refuse. my friends at this point are buggin out, scared as hell. he calls a second cop to come down, and tells us to stand up against the wall. just to piss him off, i smoke a cig. then he comes over, starts lecturing me about how i will get cancer, etc.... i tell him its my choice, and he says im bein a smart ass. i say, no im not dude. once more, he freaks when i call him dude. the cop then says, if i get an adult to buy cigs for me, its conspiracy to purchase tobacco....now, im not that smart, but thats a bullshit charge right there. so the lecture ensues, and i roll my eyes, he flips, sayin how im disrespectful, and i start to defend myself. so, in the end it leads to me callin him a fuckin pig, and i get arrested. my friends give statments, and leave. my stepmom comes to bail me out (shes pissed). i go home, and eveyone's on my ass about it. so here i am smokin a blunt, pondering my life, and typing this.

i thought if you were over 16 you cant get arrested for having cigarettes, also 2 cops did that 2 me once with alchohol, i was so scared, but nothing ever happened they were just trying to scare us

That does suck but, if you could have just held your tounge he would have prob just gave you the smoking lecture. Being respctful to a cop yes sir no sir and all that good stuff will get you a long ways. If your rude to a cop and call him a pig you know he is going to give you a hard time. Remeber that next time and you might not get arrested.

dirty pigs tryin to "serve and protect" by getting nice store clerks in trouble. You're 17, you're legally allowed to smoke and posess tobacco (well, where I am you can atleast). You have the right not to incriminate yourself, just refuse to answer him if he starts asking you questions, I hope he read you your miranda rights. a 14 yr old kid might get told off for smoking, cigs would definately be taken from him and the guy who sold them to him would get heavily fined, but no one would arrest him, im aware your older than 14 but same shit man, its ridicules to arrest u for cigs
