No problem. Glad I could help.

About the no damp I don't use it so I don't know. I would just follow the instructions on the bottle.

I am never gone from the boards for long to just post your problems here. That way you can get a number of opinions and decide which approach is best for your situaition.

I only use Promix. It is a soiless mix w/ no nutes added. I recommend you don't use outdoor soil for growing indoors. There can be mold, insects or any number of nasty things outdoors that you don't want indoors. Also outdoor soil is usually mostly clay (which sounds like what yours is) and does not drain fast enough. The price of a bag of potting soil is small compared to the loss of a crop. I recommend that beginners start with Promix. Because it is inert there is no guessing of how much nutes to add. You have total control of your nutrient solution and levels. Too often over nutrition occurs when nutes are added to a prefertilized potting soil.

Don't water everyday. The plants like to dry out in between waterings. Not too dry that they wilt, but dry so that the pot is very light to pick up. If the pot is dry, judging by the weight of the pot, give a good watering till it is totally drenched and water trickles out of the bottom. Don't water again until it is dry, usually about 2-3 days depending on both plant and pot size. Let the pot dry out before every watering.

i have been letting it dry out but because its an outdoor soil it never completely drys up.my soil is pro-mix just an outdoor soil.its says on the bag it s always moist.it was my dads choice and he is really stubbern hes always right lol.should i just add some pearlite to the rest of the soil so when i transplant them to 2 or 3 gallon pot it will drain and maybe dry up a bit better?and now he wants to use a drip system and i want to just keep watering them.but my plants look wicked my best 1 is about 4 inches high 4 by 3 and a half inches.and a solid green just a little white on the outter edges of the leaves.i think i might be misting them to much.oh and i heard it was ok to mix the hydrogen peroxide with ur chemicals so im doing that instead of using no damp.when i m checking my PH should i put in my chemicals in 1st and then check my ph cuz i heard nitrogen will fuk with my ph.

also be careful misting and watering if your soil is damp overwatering can still occur from misting your plants

Yes, adjust PH after adding the nutes.
