by the way, there's about 5934835 different ways to dread hair, there's modern ways and there's older ways. Now there's tons of waxes to put in your hair to help dread it yet the old fashioned way still works fine if you do it right. It depends on how you do it and loose dreads arent always bad, some one out there likes loose dreads, just 'cause you don't doesn't mean you have the right to diss them.

I've been wanting to dye my hair purple and orange and braid it all into a purple and orange swirl... Not cornrows tho, I think I'd look horrible...

I think everyone should try cornrows once, and then a braided style that is more disignish like the ones i get. It is a neat hair style.

Also babyface, I don't think anyone is saying that mastacronic method is worng, or even that his dreads look good or bad. I think all me and chowder are saying is the neglect method is disgusting, and makes for loose dreads, and that there are more effective, and 'neat' ways to get em, neither of which is good or bad.

Im not saying you shouldnt do anything disgusting. I personally think smoking is too, but you do what you have to do to get what you want.
