and second of all....what are you supposed to do when the plants are done? not smoke it 'cause you grew?

dishonesty on any level is icky...you should just tell her you want to smoke, that is the purpose for growing, and why is there an issue now when you have been smoking all along?

As a general rule mixed (toking & nontoking) relationships rarely work out. One of the few areas where my hubby and I have any friction is tobacco. I've been gently (and at times, not so gently, lol) trying to get him to quit for over 40 years! Your girlfriend may be a budding control freak. Since growing is a greater offence than just toking, it obviously isn't the fact that it is illegal that bothers her. Is it the smell and she just wants a break from it?- get a vaporizer! Is she jealous of your commitment to pot? Before a really good answer can be given, we need to know her reasoning! WHY doesn't she want you to toke?
